WSIB regulation 1101 mandates that all employees have a required number of staff trained at all times in First Aid and CPR. Our courses meet and exceed all applicable standards for safety training in the workplace.

AED training and certification is included at no further charge! Public Access Defibrillators are in many public gathering places now, and some companies are choosing to keep one accessible in the workplace. You must be trained and certified in order to use these.

EMERGENCY FIRST AID

Every employer employing not more than five workers in any one shift must provide a first aid station with a first aid box and it must be in the charge of someone certified in Emergency First Aid. As a partner with Canadian Red Cross, this program is equivalent to the St. John Ambulance Emergency First Aid and even exceeds their standards as we include AED certification.

STANDARD FIRST AID

WSIB regulation 1101 mandates that all employees have a required number of staff trained at all times in First Aid and CPR. Our courses meet and exceed all applicable standards for safety training in the workplace.

Every employer employing more than five must have the person in charge to be certified in Standard First Aid. Depending on the number of employees, you require a different sized first aid kit and even a First Aid room. Please see WSIB regulation 1101 for complete details. As a partner with Canadian Red Cross, this program is equivalent to the St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid and even exceeds their standards as we include AED certification.

Standard First Aid includes the Complete Content of Emergency First Aid as listed above, plus:

- Red Cross First Aid Manual per student
- Wall Certificate

CPR/AED

We are certified instructors of the Heart & Stroke Basic Life Support program as well as Authorized Providers of the Red Cross CPR – all levels. As an employer, you may wish to offer this short program to all of your staff, especially if you are considering investing in an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for the workplace. Our First Aid and CPR courses all include complete training on an AED. If you already have CPR training, then you can take the AED certification as a stand alone program. We will tailor this course to your needs and circumstance. We will cover regular maintenance and trouble shooting as well, leaving you completely confident in your ability to save a life.

Course length – Approx 4 hours

Choose the CPR level that is right for you.

Level A - Adult CPR (aged 8 and over) & Choking
Intended for workplace and general public 4 hours

Level B - Adult/Child/Baby CPR & Choking
Intended for families, parents, general public and child care professionals 5 hours

Level C - Adult/Child/Baby CPR (one rescuer) and Adult/Child (two rescuer) Adult/Child/Baby Choking
Intended for professional rescuers, (ie. Police, Firefighters, First Responders, Workplace First Aid Teams, and Lifeguards). 5 hours

Level HCP (Healthcare Provider)
Covers all CPR Levels course material plus 2-person Baby CPR and the use of a Bag-Valve-Mask.
Intended for healthcare providers (physicians, nurses, paramedics and Allied Healthcare Providers – RT, OT, PT) 5 hours

CPR/AED Course Length: 3 – 5 hours
- AED/CPR Certification Wallet Card per student
- Red Cross booklet per student
